Hurricane Sports is a coaching company which travels in to various school in the Lincolnshire area offering expertise coaching in PE lessons, specialising in teaching QuickSticks hockey. The owner of the company is Gary Johnson, and along with another student from the University of Lincoln I worked in a team with people of similar coaching ability but also some members of staff who possesed higher coaching ability and qualifications than myself. I see this as a perfect opportunity to learn and develop my coaching skills and knowledge.

For me as a coach I saw this as a fantastic opportunity with working with new people, in a new environment and also coaching a sport which is new to me. This left me with the task of having to gain some initial knowledge on QuickSticks hockey developing my own skills prior to beggining the session.
